Check it out - String art DIY

There has hardly ever been a moment in my life that I didn't have a project lying around, be it something I was knitting, cross stitching, sewing, cutting or gluing.

Lately I've been inspired to take up some more DIY like projects. More wood, sawing, hammering, painting.  More home made home decor. 

For the first project in the (anticipated) series I was inspired by this and this. It involved leftover wood, glue, a hammer, nails, and yarn. Oh, and some paper. Check it out!

It's currently standing next to our front door. Maybe we'll move it into the house, but for now I like where it is. I'm still debating adding our house number to the heart, though.
